In the last week of February, Thomas Pesquet, the captain of the International Space Station, made several training flights to obtain the cessna Caravan rating. He had previously followed a specific theoretical training.
The qualification obtained will allow the astronaut to fly this type of aircraft in a humanitarian setting in Africa.
Indeed, the Merville school is among others in charge of the training of crews for the benefit of the NGO "Aviation sans Frontières".
