Founded in February 1994, Children Action is a Swiss foundation whose aim is to provide concrete help to children in Switzerland and various countries around the world. Measuring impact, intervening rigorously, ensuring that ethics are respected with the constant concern of bringing about a real change in the lives of the beneficiaries, are among the main concerns of the Foundation.
Children Action develops paediatric surgery programmes, aimed at providing access to relevant and quality care for children aged 0 to 18 who cannot access adequate treatment due to a lack of financial means, the necessary skills or appropriate structures.
Surrounded by European specialists in the medical field who are committed not only to treating but also to promoting the transfer of knowledge to local medical teams, the Foundation organises a dozen surgical missions in the field each year.
