Aviation Sans Frontières and the Alpe d'Huez Triathlon: a solidarity partnership

26/07/2024

Since 2023, Aviation Sans Frontières has had the honour of being the partner association of the Alpe d'Huez Triathlon. This partnership, initiated with enthusiasm last year, has enabled the association to be present at the event's Expo Village and to make our humanitarian missions known to a wide audience.

This year, the partnership between Aviation Sans Frontières and Alpe d'Huez has taken on a new dimension with a significant increase in power. Several solidarity initiatives have been put in place to strengthen this link and maximize the impact on our mission of Accompagnement d'Enfants Malades.

Support from all participants

One of the main novelties this year is the direct engagement of the participants. For each bib sold, €1 is donated to Aviation Sans Frontières. In addition, registrants had the opportunity to make a free donation when they registered, allowing them to increase their impact on our actions.

Games Changers with a solidarity bib

Faced with the enthusiasm of the participants and once the event was sold out, the Alpe d'Huez Triathlon introduced a system of solidarity bibs. This initiative allowed the runners to take part in this extraordinary event while raising funds for our association. Obtain: reach a minimum collection rate to obtain your solidarity bib. Their contribution was significant: they alone raised the sum of €13,524. Thanks to these donations, 16 additional sick children will be able to be accompanied and cared for, perfectly illustrating the concrete impact of this sporting solidarity.

Our presence at the Expo Village

Like last year, Aviation Sans Frontières was invited to have a booth in the Event Village. It was an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of our missions and to collect donations through our solidarity raffle, 100% of the profits of which will also be donated to the Accompaniment of Sick Children.

This partnership demonstrates once again that sport and solidarity can come together to make a real difference. Thanks to the generosity of the participants and the commitment of the organizers, lives can be transformed and many sick children can regain hope and health.

We warmly thank all the runners and visitors for their support and participation in this beautiful solidarity adventure. We would also like to thank the organisation of the Alpe d'Huez Triathlon for their renewed confidence and this great opportunity to showcase our missions.
